New Features

The following new features are included in this release:

Launch Module

The Launch Module is a new addition to the builder in the Ushur platform. This module enables easy link of from one workflow within another. You choose to launch workflows via SMS or email, but there are several other handy features too:

  • You can change who receives the workflow when it gets to the destination, thus providing more control over who receives the messages.

  • Flexible scheduling enables to determine whether to start a workflow right away, at a specific time, or after a certain period.

  • Variables can now be passed from the main workflow to the one that is going to be launched. This helps keep data connected and ensures a smooth process flow.


Key Enhancements

This release contains the following enhancements and bug fixes:

Webhook Module Enhancements

Outbound Webhook Module: This includes the Retry Mechanism to Webhook modules at Ushur platform. This feature is designed to make your API interactions more reliable and efficient.

  • You can now enable or disable the retry mechanism as per your needs.

  • Once enabled, you can specify how many times (Number of Retries) and how often (Frequency in minutes) the system should retry sending an outbound API call.

Bulk Upload and Trigger Improvements

  • Updated Trigger Confirmation: Ushur updates the launch confirmation now to display both immediately launched and scheduled workflows as soon as you launch a workflow. This makes it easier to see what's happening right away and what's planned for later.

    • Scheduling on UI: Users can now schedule workflow launches directly from the User Interface (UI). This new feature adds flexibility and convenience in planning your workflows.

    • Priority to Attachment Dates: When a 'send date' is included in an attachment, this date will now take priority over other scheduling. This ensures that your specific scheduling needs are accurately met, based on the data you provide.

  • Email Notifications on SFTP uploads: Introduced a new email notification when someone uploads a file through SFTP, and is waiting for action to trigger workflows.

    • By default, only administrators will get an email about it. This way, admins can quickly know about new files that need their check. Want more team members to get these emails? No problem! Just go to the 'User admin' screen and give them the right permission. They'll start getting these alerts too.

  • Duplicate Report: We've made an improvement to assist you when using ‘Bulk upload and trigger’ feature. Whenever there are duplicate entries in your data, identified by the 'uid_primary' key column, our system will now automatically generate a 'Duplicate records' report.

    • This report, which you can easily find in the 'Reports' section, will detail all the duplicates from your uploaded CSV file. It's designed to help you spot and fix these duplicates more easily.

    • The 'Duplicate records' report will only be created and available for download if there are actual duplicates in your data.

    • It's tailored to show you only the duplicated information, making it straightforward for you to see and resolve any issues with your data.


Ushur Hub

  • Scaling Improvements (B2B) - This release includes performance improvements to make Ushur Hub more efficient.

  • Dynamic Column Width for Data Table

    • Table column width is dynamic to the content of the column header and data.

    • If the content exceeds the 200px maximum, text will be truncated and full text will be displayed on hover with a tooltip.


Invisible App

Language Translation Support in Additional Invisible App Fields/Labels

  • Additional text fields and labels are now automatically translated after selection of languages under the Invisible App settings

Support for Right to Left Text Entry for Arabic/Farsi Languages

  • If an engagement has been translated to Arabic or Farsi, input fields on modules will support right to left text entry

  • Invisible App input fields will support right to left text entry


Analytics

Short URL Reports and Analytics

The recent addition of reports and analytics enables citizen developers and business analysts to extract additional contextual information associated with a specific short URL. Contact your Customer Success Manager to enable this option for you, so you can track these analytics associated with the following information:

  • Campaign name

    • Channel

    • Module type

    • Module name

    • End-user clicked information

    • Placement within a module


AI Studio

Design Updates

Updated design to simplify training, testing and management of Skills in AI Studio. These design updates streamline the training of classification skills for SmartMail and increase usability by adding a few key functions:

  • Import/Export Skills - Trained Skills can be exported from AI Studio and imported into another Ushur environment speeding up deployment of Skills.

  • Cancel Training - A training operation can be canceled any time after starting.

  • Training Progress - Adds an estimation of the total time required to complete a training operation in progress.

Additional Functional Enhancements

  • Static Routine - The key enhancement includes implementation that ensures that the static routine is based on extractions from 3 Systems: Linode, Disa, and Census.

  • Census Transformation - Includes support for ongoing UDS changes for Equitable and other customers.

  • Preset-based Deployments - To support preset-based configurations, Install and Upgrade pipelines will now copy contents of according to the platform presets respectively.

  • Outbound Voice Channel - Improved platform capabilities for outbound voice channel

    • Launch campaigns from the launchpad or Bulk-CSV trigger

    • Automatic voicemail detection and the ability to leave a custom message if the call is answered by voice message.

    • Barge-in support to interrupt a prompt

  • Update to Variable type dropdown on Enterprise variables screen

    • Now, when you click on the variable type menu, all variable types are neatly sorted in alphabetical order, making it easier to find what you are looking for.

    • For those using the Bulk upload and trigger, you'll now see a special Trigger Variables section in the variable type menu. This makes it simpler to identify and select these specific variables.
