Overview of eSign Solution

With Ushur, 3rd-party authorization via e-Sign is an easy, step-by-step process for your customer and a frictionless, audit-ready engagement for your agent.

There are many instances where a business requires a document to be signed by the customer either to add a third party, e.g. a beneficiary providing a consent form, or signing a simple application form.

In these instances, the customer typically receives an email with the signatory document attached. The customer then needs to open, sign, and attach the document back to the email so that a claims specialist or support person can attach it to the case file. This is a time-consuming and manual process. It requires the customer to take several steps to complete the very simple signature operation, leading to friction for the customer and additional lag time for the business.

In today’s world, customers are used to speed and convenience, and any process that does not deliver those characteristics is cumbersome and creates a negative impact on a customer’s satisfaction. It also reduces operational efficiency as businesses typically have to send follow-ups to make sure the eSign process is complete.

Ushur’s integration-friendly environment allows business and technical teams to streamline this entire process within an Invisible App engagement. Whether the customer is on the phone speaking with the specialist or not, the signing process can be done in just a few seconds without additional demands on the customer to download, sign, and upload a form. Ushur empowers specialists to verify submissions and the engagement is also time-stamped for audit availability.

The Ushur experience is seamless for the end user, allowing for convenience and speed. Give your customers and your agents time back with our automated workflows.

eSign Implementation

There are two main phases involved during the implementation of an eSign solution:

  • Form Setup - In this phase, the template documents are uploaded and the form fields are customized

  • URL Embedding - The Notify module within the Ushur workflow builder is where you can embed the link you received from eSign platforms (Adobe, DocuSign etc.). The link can be used as is if the form is already populated with all desired values for the customer to sign, or it can be customized with Ushur variables to provide a dynamically fillable form.

Ushur can integrate with any eSign platform. However, we have provided the information related to DocuSign and AdobeSign as they are widely used platforms.
