How to install Ushur Salesforce Base Package?

Installing the Ushur App

1. To install the app, click here. It will take you to the Ushur app on AppExchange.

2. Click on Get It Now.

3. Select Install for All Users.

4. Click Install.

   

5. Check Yes, grant access to these third-party websites, and click Continue. Click Done once the Installation Complete message appears.

   Configuring Custom Settings

6. Go to Setup and search for Custom Settings in the Quick Find box. Select Custom Settings.

   

   Note

   Please contact Ushur to find the exact endpoint instance for your organization.

7. Once you get the instance from Ushur, select Manage action for Ushur API Method in Custom Settings.

   

8. Edit the endpoint, for example, we took demo.ushur.me as our Ushur instance.

   

9. Enter the instance provided by the Ushur POC. Click Save. Repeat this for all endpoints present in the Ushur API Method.

   

   After the changes, the endpoint URL should look like this. Instead of “demo” it will display your instance.

   Setting Up Remote Site Settings

10. Go to Setup and search for Remote Site Setting in the Quick Find box. You must create a new Remote Site Setting for the instance you got from Ushur. Click New Remote Site.

11. Specify the Remote Site Name and Remote Site URL. Ensure to select the Active checkbox. Click Save.

    

    Assigning Permission Sets

12. In Setup, search for and click Permission Sets in the Quick Find box. You will see a list of permission sets. In the list, you will see two Ushur permission sets named Ushur Admin Permission and Ushur Standard Permission. Click on Ushur Admin Permission. Assign it to Admin Users or users that have the System Administrator profile.

    

13. Click Manage Assignment and then click Add Assignment.

    

14. Select the checkbox of the users that have the System Administrator profile and click Assign and Done to complete.

    

15. Open the Permission Sets from Setup and select Ushur Standard Permission. Click on Manage Assignment and then click Add Assignment.

16. Select the checkbox for all the users except those that have the System Administrator profile. Click Assign and then click Done.

    

    Granting Account Login Access

17. Go to Settings by clicking on Profile from the top right corner. Click on Grant Account Login Access and select 1 Day access to UshurInc Support.

    

    Logging in to the Ushur App

18. Click on App Launcher from the top left corner and search for Ushur. Open the Ushur App. You will see the screen below. Click on the Ushur Setup tab. If you already have a username and password for Ushur, then click on Already Signed Up? Otherwise, click on Sign Up.

    Please contact your Customer Success Team or Ushur POC to get the Ushur username and password

    

19. When you click Sign Up, you will see the following screen. Specify the password and USN ID that was provided by the Ushur POC.

    

20. Once you get the username and password, specify them in the respective fields and set the frequency you want. Then click on Connect > Sync. You will see the message User Found. Access Granted. If you do not see this message, please contact Ushur support.
