Article summary

You can edit a Ushur while the Ushur is activated or deactivate it before editing.

Editing without Deactivating

After you activate a Ushur, sometimes you might need to make changes to it without disrupting the flow. This can be done easily by editing a Ushur without needing to deactivate it.

To make edits to a Ushur while it is activated, complete the following:

  1. Open the Ushur that is active.
    This displays the Ushur’s screen.

  2. Click Edit on the top right corner of your screen.
    This displays a dialog box.

  3. Pick any one of the following options.

    1. Go to Draft: This lets you keep the Ushur active, make changes in a draft version, and then replace it.
Note: If an end user is in the middle of an engagement process when you replace the Ushur, the rest of the user's experience will be based on the new updated version.

    2. Cancel: This cancels your attempt to edit the Ushur and takes you back to the original screen.

    3. Deactivate: This stops the Ushur entirely and lets you make the changes and restart the Ushur.
Note: This will completely stop the flow for the end user.

Editing After Deactivating

After you deactivate a Ushur, you can make edits to it to reflect something different altogether.

To edit a Ushur that is deactivated, complete the following:

  1. Open the Ushur that is active.
    This displays the Ushur’s screen.

  2. Click Go To Draft on the top right corner of your screen.
This makes a draft version of the screen, and the Go to Draft button is replaced with the Replace button.

  3. After all the changes are made, click Replace
This updates the Ushur with all the changes made.

  4. Click Activate to activate the Ushur with the latest updates.

Note

If an end user uses the engagement process, the user's experience will be based on the new updated version.
