How can Customers Opt-In or Opt-Out?
Ushur provides customers an option to receive communication or not. These options are TCPA compliant.
Channel Opt-In | Method |
Keywords | ALLOW, START, OPTIN Customers can send one of these keywords to a published virtual number. The message must contain only the opt-in word, and it is case-sensitive. Sentences are not allowed. The Ushur platform offers flexibility in customizing the opt-in keywords. |
Verbal Consent | Recorded and annotated over a phone call with an agent or a representative. |
Sign-up Page | A webpage created by enterprises with to sign up for SMS based alerts. |
An E-mail with a link to specify the phone number can be used. A verification code sent to the phone number will confirm their consent to receive further communication. | |
Channel Opt-Out | Method |
Keyword | STOP, OPTOUT SMS to customers must explicitly include this keyword to stop all further communications. Sentences are not allowed. Enterprises can configure their SMS correctly so customers understand that must use a single keyword to blacklist their number. |
