Overview

The data retention dashboard provides the user with a snapshot view of the state of data. It is data collected during engagements including any documents received, contacts created in the system, or logs generated by the platform. A citizen developer can filter the information for a redefined duration, view and monitor the volume of different types of data on the platform, and capture anomalies like engagement data not getting anonymized in time or a log file retained in the system beyond the specific duration.

The Data Retention Tab must be enabled prior. Contact your Customer Success Manager to enable this option, for the tab to be displayed.

Once enabled, click Data Retention to view the tab as shown in the image below. The current version of this feature scans the data on an hourly basis.

Date Filter

Click the Calendar on the right corner to display the filters. You can filter to view the data based on the following range:

  • Last 24 Hours

  • Last Week

  • Current Month

  • Last Month

Chart Filter

Use the Chart filter to display the data chart can be viewed using the categories mentioned below. Use the check box to select which category you want to view the data retention chart. You can use the arrow buttons to horizontally navigate the chart that is displayed.

  • Engagement data - Total number of PII data counts for a campaign. The sub-filters include the following parameters:

    • active engagements - Total number of PII data count in active sessions (which did not reach the end of Ushur/incomplete session)

    • completed engagements - Total number of PII data count in completed sessions (which reached the end of Ushur/completed session)

    • anonymized engagements - Total number of PII data count in anonymized sessions

  • Launched Campaign - The sessions scanned during the scan/time interval

  • Assets - The S3 assets stored for a campaign

  • Contacts - Total number of contacts stored in the Enterprise Account

  • Logs - Total number of log files stored in the system unmodified for the last 7 days

Viewing Data Scan Details for Specific Time Intervals

The Data Scan details will display all the details of the data for a specific time interval. By default, the current time scan details will be displayed. You can horizontally navigate the chart and click on a specific time interval to view the corresponding Data Scan details, in the pane as shown below.
