Configuring the Do Not Disturb (DND) Preference

Article summary

TCPA requirements mandate that enterprises cannot send text messages to consumers during specific periods. Ushur allows enterprises to set up a Do Not Disturb window during which no outbound messages will be sent out. You can use the DND feature to also prevent communication during holidays and weekends. You can set these messages across different time zones, based on your customer geographies.

If a message is pushed during the DND window, Ushur will hold this message, place it in a queue, and then send it at the first instance of the time when communication is allowed.

Ensure to read the Understanding and Using the DND Feature for detailed information on how effectively you can use this feature to suit specific customer needs.

Note

If you are unable to view these features, contact your Customer Success Manager at Ushur.
