Article summary

The Ushur Hub feature requires certain prerequisites to function efficiently. Contact your Customer Success Manager to ensure the following are in order.

  1. Create an Application Context with the name IPUserData

  2. Create the following Meta Data Variables and their corresponding data entries. Ensure that they are created as mentioned below. These are case-sensitive.

    • Email (primary key) - The email IDs of those who need to access the Ushur Hub feature.

    • UserName - Name of the user

    • UserID - The unique identification number of the user

    • UserAccessRole

      • enduser - This user will be able to upload and view the history or the information about the actions on the Ushur Hub

      • businessuser - This user will be able to view and perform specific actions on the data in the Ushur Hub.

    • OrgAddress - The address of the organization

    • Organization - The name of the organization

  3. Create all the Ushur workflows that need to be used for the Ushur Hub.

Defining User Roles for the Ushur Hub Settings

Ushur leverages metadata to provision both end-users and admin users (business users) for Ushur Hub. The limitation is to keep the metadata organized to manage roles and privileges. Based on the sample meta-data setup (screenshot attached) Ushur enables to specify user roles and set up their access to Ushur Hub.

The screen below is a sample definition of user roles.

The users, based on the specific permissions assigned, will be able to access the IP with a URL and 2FA authentication. For example, Business Admin users can view their admin interface and the related activities of the users within their enterprise.

Ushur aims towards building a robust Identity and Access Management feature to support various user roles, and privileges along with SSO support in the upcoming versions of the Ushur Hub feature.
