Article summary

Overview

The Blacklist Tab in the Ushur platform allows users to manage the list of phone numbers that are blacklisted manually. Blacklisting prevents these numbers from receiving any further notifications using the SMS channel. If you do not see this tab on your Ushur Dashboard, contact your Customer Success Manager. Blacklisting Methods

  1. Platform Initiated: Use the options from the Blacklist tab to add or remove phone numbers.

  2. User-Initiated: Users can opt out from receiving further notifications. If a user deletes their chat history along with the phone number, the number will be opted out. You can contact your Admin user or the Customer Success Manager to restore the number in such cases. The user must re-initiate and opt-in to receive communication.

Steps to Modify Blacklisted Numbers

  1. Access the Blacklist Tab:

    • From within the Application Context, click the Blacklist tab.

  2. Add Numbers:

    • Enter the phone numbers in the Enter phone number to be blacklisted field and click Blacklist. Ensure to select the appropriate country phone code before typing the number.

    • The list of blacklisted numbers will be displayed as you append them.

    • Use the filters to view blacklisted numbers by date using the Please choose date here filter option.

  3. Remove Numbers:

    • To remove a number from the blacklist, click Remove from Blacklist in the Actions column. This will whitelist the number.

Viewing Whitelisted Numbers

  • Click the Black to Whitelist tab to view the list of numbers that are whitelisted.
